Sooo decided on the name Evelyn but really struggling with middle names not fussed on Rose or Mae but open to others! Currently, have a really short list consisting of;

Can you give us an idea of surname for "flow"?

How are you going to pronounce it OP?

Will it be Ev-e-Lyn or Eve-Lyn?

That might have a bearing?

I love Astrid though - that would go with both pronounciations

Ever- Lyn or Eve- Lyn?

(There is a lovely song called Evelyn Evelyn which uses the ever- Lyn pronunciation :) )

Ever- Lyn goes well with a single syllable name
Eveyln Grace or Evelyn Rose or whatever

Eve- Lyn goes well with a 2 or 3 syllable name
Evelyn Audrey keeps coming to me though that would be an unusual choice!

Eve/Eva/Evie/Evelyn/Ava etc are very popular. I think Astrid would make a better choice with Evelyn as aa middle name.

Eve's not popular, it's ranked #161. Evie and Eva are very very popular though.

I much prefer Eve to Evelyn, Evie, Eva, and Ava. They're all OK just the appeal is diluted if there are several. There are so many names to chose from.

My DD is Evelyn Jade. (We pronounce it as Ev-ah-lin if that makes a difference). We chose Jade purely because it's my own name and I think it goes well. I ummed and aahed about giving my own name as her middle name as I thought it seemed a bit odd but I love it now.

Me and my partner want Evelyn Grace Florence as a prospective name- we're having 2 mn's but I think both go beautifully
