Any opinions on the following names? A slightly eclectic (!) mix but I really don't know which way to go....

Lyra
Juniper
Juliet
Rosalind
Thea
Ada
Eva
Rosie
Willow
Ivy

Thank you everyone. I love Luna but my husband has vetoed it as 3 friends have used this name in last year. Is juniper a bit out there or ok?

I like Luna - but it just makes me think of Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter. I like Willow x

Really struggling with girls names myself!

I really like Juniper, but similar alternatives if you're worried are June, Jupiter (just as "out there" really!), Julia...

Seagreen25 · 01/08/2017 15:30

Thank you everyone! Now to try and get Jupiter past my husband.....

Have you considered Juno?

Seagreen25 · 01/08/2017 20:05

Karine Juno is my absolute favourite name of all time but has been absolutely slated by everyone I've ever mentioned it to so I've given up....

OP posts:
krakentoast · 01/08/2017 20:08

But Juno is a great name!

friedegs · 01/08/2017 20:11

I love Rosalind. Juno is a good name too, I know a teen one. Suits a girl/ teen/ woman well. If you like it use it. MN is just a few opinions!

Seagreen My 9 month old DD is Juno, we have had mostly positive responses, the people who wrinkle their nose s are generally old ladies who stop to talk to us in shops!
For me the name is feisty, beautiful and rare but not made up. I love it. If you love it, consider it. We didn't tell anyone what name we were planning and just announced it (although I did warn my mum I wasn't sure our chosen name would be to her taste, in the event she said she loved it!). Once it is your child's name, people are a lot less likely to be rude about it!
