What are your thoughts on Dashiell for a boy?

Might be due a surge in popularity with the new Incredibles 2 film out soon.

I love it! It probably will pick up a bit in the wake of the new film but the first one didn't prompt too many new baby Dashiells. That was 13 years ago though.

I pronounce it DA-sheel but I could be wrong!

Dashiell Hammet is just Dash-ell, emphasis on the first syllable.

I like the DASH ell pronunciation best, but the multiple ways of pronouncing it might put me off
