What do you think of the name Raphaela/ Rafaela. My mums name is Maria so that would be her middle name. My daughter is called Sofia and my son Louie.

Ah, right. When you hide a thread you only hide it from yourself, so people can still post on both. You can ask MN to delete one if you want.

Anyway, I know a four year old Rafael and his nickname is Raf.

Aha! OP, if you do a search for 'Raphaela' you'll find my recent threads. We're due to have DD2 in September and are definitely going with the name/Raphaela spelling. It's gorgeous and you have very good taste. .

Let me know if you have any great ideas for middle names. We still can't find one.

We have a 2 year old raphaella, but we call her Raffy.
