Love the names of my kids umpteen years on

So, my kids are 10 to 15, and I'm so pleased we named them as we did. I love their names. What a relief! And I think they like them too. They all have slightly unusual names, esp dd1. Would love to have an Indigo though...

Are you going to tell us their names?

EduCated · 13/07/2017 22:34

Um, congratulations? Confused

mehimthem · 13/07/2017 22:42

yeah, congrats sort of ... but whats the point of this thread otherwise - unless youre going to tell us their names :)

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 13/07/2017 22:46

Indigo is a great name.

FurForPour · 13/07/2017 22:47

Do threads have to have a point? Confused I guess I was thinking new parents might like to be reassured that they'll be happy some time on. As you were.

I think the point is sort of that threads have a point. Fwiw I bloody love my kids names. We chose very well.

PandaCat · 13/07/2017 23:19

☺

I started off not being too fond of my DD's name when she was first born, it just didn't feel right! But 5 years later I feel we made the right choice, and am glad I didn't change her name! 😊

NC4now · 13/07/2017 23:20

Yep, still love mine and so do they.

DramaAlpaca · 13/07/2017 23:22

Well, my three are 23, 22 and 19 now & I still love their names. They appear to be happy with them too, so we chose well.

If I could go back & change anything it would be DS1's middle name, but he likes it so that's all that matters really.

FurForPour · 13/07/2017 23:27

Yes, that's the point! We like/love their names! Like a pp, the only one I would change is dd1's middle name, which is dull and she thinks so too, but slightly reprieved by being the name of our lovely midwife too.

Choose what you like, it will work out. Xx

What a strange thread! Confused

MollyHuaCha · 13/07/2017 23:36

Yeh, too weird... where's the diagram? And the tension? And the drip feeding? And the AIBU? No story to grasp here, just a happy OP!

TartanDMs · 13/07/2017 23:39

I love DS's name too. Both his first and middle names suit him perfectly even if he has had to go through primary and secondary school always in the same class as another boy with the same name apart from one letter different in his surname.

Justhadmyhaircut · 13/07/2017 23:41

Most of my dc have names they know no others with . . That pleases me and them!! Grin

Oysterbabe · 14/07/2017 08:38

If the OP had said
Do you still love your DC's names? I do.
Then it would have been a normal kind of a thread. Just a statement not requiring a response is a weird thread.
