Boy/girl twins due Oct.
What do you think we should go with?
Rowan, Robin, Heath or Lachlan for the boy.
Fearne, Hazel, Robyn or Wren for the girl.
*Obviously we'd only have one Robin/ Robyn! Thanks.

well, some of those combinations arent' goign to work well:
Robin and Wren,
Heath and Hazel

I love the Idea of Rowan and Hazel though. Except I prefer Rowan for a girl.

Lachlan and Hazel are good, so is
Lachlan and Fearne
Heath and Fearne

bridgetreilly · 11/07/2017 11:33

I love Robin and Wren together!

I also prefer Rowan for a girl.

ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap · 11/07/2017 13:36

OP,

Congratulations on expecting twins...how lovely! Smile

I vote Rowan and Fearne.

MammieBear · 11/07/2017 13:37

Fearne and Lachlan
Roby and Wren

17caterpillars1mouse · 11/07/2017 13:59

Robin and Robyn :)

Seriously i'd go with Lachlan and Hazel or Rowan and Hazel

LiviaAD · 11/07/2017 14:03

Rowan and Hazel make such a beautiful mix of names, I've only ever known Rowan to be a girl's name but don't let that put you off, it does remind me of the film, The Wicker Man, but again, don't let that put you off, beautiful nature names.

Jooni · 11/07/2017 16:15

Robin and Wren are my respective favourites but I don't think you can have them together, it's a bit twee.

I'd have Rowan or Robin and Hazel.

Decaffstilltastesweird · 11/07/2017 17:38

Rowan and Hazel or Lachlan and Wren.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 11/07/2017 19:07

Robin and Fearne, prefer, Robin and Fern.

monkeyfacegrace · 11/07/2017 19:09

Lachers and Wren. But only because I know them IRL Grin

Sophronia · 11/07/2017 23:11

I prefer Rowan for a girl, and I like Heath for a boy.

Schmoochypoos · 11/07/2017 23:14

I know the most beautiful little boy called Rowan so it has to be that and I think Rowan goes really well with Hazel. Lovely names OP as I love Wren and Heath and Robin and Fearne as well!!

TurquoiseOwl · 12/07/2017 00:41

Robin and Hazel.

I wouldn't go with Rowan and Robyn, for example, as they're both unisex, I think people may get muddled at who's who?

If you go for Fern, I think it should be spelt Fern... Smile

Congratulations!

castleontheground · 12/07/2017 10:23

Heath and Wren

Kazzawazza69 · 12/07/2017 13:56

Heath and Robyn x

Mothervulva · 12/07/2017 13:57

Robin and Hazel

noodlebum · 12/07/2017 16:02

I like all of them except Fearne, good choices! Congrats Smile

Bubblesoup · 12/07/2017 18:12

Lachlan with either Fearne or Hazel.

MadameJosephine · 12/07/2017 19:37

Congratulations OP

I vote Rowan and Hazel, gorgeous names

LadyoftheLake123 · 12/07/2017 20:05

I love Rowan - it's also on my list for DS1 (due Oct). I've seen lots of comments on MN about it being nicer as a girls name but according to ONS statistics it is far more popular for boys than it is for girls so not sure how much of an issue this is in real life...? Unless it's had a massive jump in popularity since the last data collected!

LadyoftheLake123 · 12/07/2017 20:06

Robin also lovely. And I think I'd pick Hazel from your girl list.

MightyMcMe · 12/07/2017 20:10

Isn't it Roan for a boy?

sugarhoneyicetea · 13/07/2017 00:13

Thanks all. I totally think of Rowan as a boy's name. But a little girl could rock it too! Think we've decided on Rowan James and Hazel Catherine.

ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap · 13/07/2017 06:21

OP,

Hooray! Rowan got my vote, and Rowan James is very nice.

Even though Fearne was my 1st choice, Hazel Catherine also sounds lovely.

And Rowan and Hazel do combine well:
I picture 2 little nature-lovers, merrily building camps and shinning up trees together Smile

Decaffstilltastesweird · 13/07/2017 08:35

Gorgeous choices op!
