I don't like Seth or Sefton.

I don't mind Ren but massively prefer the spelling Wren.

Harley is taking off more for girls due to the Harley Quinn association. I wouldn't use it for a son just now.

Sophronia · 09/07/2017 12:08

Seth

Jooni · 09/07/2017 12:51

Seth or Ren/Wren

bridgetreilly · 09/07/2017 13:07

Seth.

Sefton just makes me think of the Queen's old horse. Ren? Huh?

Harley is okay but I mostly mishear it as Harvey.

Thewolfsjustapuppy · 09/07/2017 13:14

You have quite a diverse list of names there from age old biblical through to modern American type.
If you like Seth what about Josh, Jed, Isaac, Daniel?
If you like Harley how about Harvey, Harlow, Hurley, Harold?
If you like Ren, what about Wren, Raven, River?
I don't really know about Sefton, it's not a name I have heard of before where is it from? The more I say it in my head the more I can see it's appeal.

TheWeeWitch · 09/07/2017 13:57

Seth is cool.

Ren is terrible. It makes me think of that awful Ren and Stimpy cartoon.

Kazzawazza69 · 09/07/2017 14:02

Harley is my nephew's name so that gets my vote. Seth is cute as well.

daisypond · 09/07/2017 14:03

Seth is the best. Sefton makes me think either of the Queen's horse caught up in the Hyde Park bombing or of a part of Liverpool. Harley is OK, I guess. I'm not really keen on it. Ren - I just think of the characters in Ren and Stimpy, too.

NuffSaidSam · 09/07/2017 14:04

Seth - nice, underused boys name.

Ren - is a girls name, usually spelt Wren or short for Renee/Rena/Brenda

  • Sefton - looks and sounds made-up. It's a good name for a company that makes industrial strength glue or something, but not a person.
  • Harley - I quite like it, but it is one of those boys names that's becoming more popular for girls now.
Sugarpiehoneyeye · 09/07/2017 17:47

Really love Ren, but as a nick name for Lawrence.

mondler · 09/07/2017 18:21

Seth gets my vote. I love this name!

The only Harley I know is out in America, don't know of any in the UK.

Never heard of Sefton, its quite nice but I could imagine it being misheard and misspelt a lot?

Ren is nice but again I would think of Ren and Stimpy but I doubt any child would ever make that association.

MammieBear · 10/07/2017 13:31

I live in sefton so can't imagine it as a name, I think Seth is good how about Jonah, Ezra, Eben, Jude

17caterpillars1mouse · 11/07/2017 20:40

I don't like any of them sorry

Neuroticwoman · 11/07/2017 21:07

Seth is nice.
What about Solomon, Sol for short?

ilivebythesea · 11/07/2017 21:29

Seth - yes
Sefton - urmmm
Ren - going to be spelt Wren by everyone and thought to be a girl?
Harley - more usual now for a girl (Harley Quinn)
