Felix is a bit catty so please don't go with Rufus, Monty or Oscar, they're a bit doggy.

Felix is a well known brand of cat food in the UK - maybe the teasing could refer to that?

Why would you call a golden retriever Rufus?

It's just a very dog type, golden retriever, name. Sorry, just my opinion.

Same with Oscar, very doggy.
