I LOVE it!! I wanted it for my girls originally but then chose Irish names at the last minute!! I would have pronounced it Ah-liss-ah, but I have heard it pronounced Ah-lee-sah....both are equally gorgeous I think!!!

I like Alicia too but thought that's more likely to be pronounced Aleesha, which I don't like. I like that Alyssa can be Ali/Alice/Lissa too.

I like Alyssa Eve. I've always liked Beth as a middle name but then it sounds like a weird version of Elizabeth

I knew an Alyssa when I was little (around 50 years ago . She's the only Alyssa I've ever come across.. I've always thought it's a beautiful name. Her sister was called Theda. Also not a name I've heard of since.

I don't like it much. Very very very girly and a bit twee. Prefer Alicia.
