What do you think of the name Hugo?

I love it. My Dh vetoed it though on grounds of it "being too posh!"

NuffSaidSam · 05/07/2017 22:32

I quite like it.

It is 'posh' I think.

I only know one Hugo and he is the most boisterous, spiteful and badly behaved child I've ever come across. I don't think that's connected to his name, but it does put me off a bit.

Sophronia · 05/07/2017 22:32

Not keen. I do like Hugh though.

SuperPug · 05/07/2017 22:35

Really like it and nice link to Victor Hugo 😀

DramaAlpaca · 05/07/2017 22:36

It's too posh for me!

Ojoj1974 · 05/07/2017 22:38

Gorgeous. Love Hugh too

thisisafreename · 05/07/2017 22:42

No, not for me, sorry.

mintich · 05/07/2017 23:10

Love it!

ScarletSienna · 05/07/2017 23:12

Love it. Know 5: one who is 18, two in their mid teens and 2 babies/toddlers. None are typically 'posh'.

TheSeaTheSkyTheSeaTheSkyyyyyy · 05/07/2017 23:31

It seems quite weak to me.

pieceofpurplesky · 05/07/2017 23:40

Love it. I teach a lovely Hugo

Nospringflower · 05/07/2017 23:48

Not keen. View it as posh and not that nice. Hugh is worse though!

Pallisers · 05/07/2017 23:49

love it. Didn't go with our surname though.

Mrsknackered · 06/07/2017 00:05

I like it. Only know a French 3 year old with it.

MammieBear · 06/07/2017 11:49

Very nice and Hugh.

flickerty · 06/07/2017 12:17

Love it

Sneaks off to add to my baby name list

Mclaren37 · 07/07/2017 04:30

Really love it. It's posh and cool. And Hughie for a baby name. Or Hugh as a grown up if he ever wants a 'plainer' option. Perfect.

grufallosfriend · 07/07/2017 08:27

What is wrong with 'posh'?

OstrichRunning · 07/07/2017 08:59

It's a good name.
