Initials M.E.N. for a girl

Will this be tease-worthy in later life??
Our surname begins with N, and I'm keen on Elizabeth as a middle name as it was my GMs, so the name is likely to make a word whatever we do (BEN/PEN/JEN/DEN etc), but is MEN awful for a girl or will people not notice?!

I dont think anyone would bat an eyelid to be honest. Its rare you ever need to go by initials unless they become a solicitor Smile

The middle name is never mentioned so no I don't think anyone will notice. Besides it could be a whole lot worse than MEN.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 05/07/2017 20:31

Not so bad. Even in the unlikely event that she got called Men as a nn, it sounds like Min.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 05/07/2017 20:32

Or add another name .....Madeleine Elizabeth Rose N .......

Jooni · 05/07/2017 20:36

Not a problem

SoyUnPerdedor2 · 05/07/2017 20:53

Men is ok.
Not a bad word or anything.

JEN would be great if her name was jenna/Jenny or similar.

chowmeinchick · 05/07/2017 21:03

Not a big deal. It could be COCK or something and then I'd be worried.

bridgetreilly · 05/07/2017 22:02

I don't love the idea of it, tbh. I think I'd add in another middle name or find a different first name. AEN, CEN, EEN, IEN, OEN, REN, UEN would all be absolutley fine. And quite a lot of the word ones are sweet too: FEN, HEN, PEN, TEN, ZEN. The ones I'd avoid a bit are things like DEN, LEN, KEN and MEN.
