So we didn't want to know what we were having but we do as our unborn son presented his assets immediately 😃

Think we have decided on a name to form a sib set with our son and daughter. As some of you know from my previous incessant postings this has not been easy.

We think we will go with Kit, Wren and....Corin.

Does this flow as beautifully as I think it does?

Thank You and I swear after this you will hear from me no more!

Well I love it Grin

SirNiallDementia · 04/07/2017 11:11

Love the name Corin and it goes beautifully with the names of your other children.

MadisonAvenue · 04/07/2017 11:14

It goes really well with the other two names, but there's a chance he'll go through life correcting people who mishear his name and call him Colin.

ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap · 04/07/2017 12:09

OP,

Yes, complement each other very nicely.

But, more importantly, Corin as a stand-alone is wonderful.
Really strong. Unusual, but in the best way.

(Haven't read your previous threads yet, so I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but I've only ever it with reference to Mr Redgrave!).

Backhometothenorth · 04/07/2017 12:10

Perfect!

Wildthoughts · 04/07/2017 12:11

Never heard of it and not that keen.

elpinguino · 04/07/2017 12:28

I love Corin. I've just discovered it and it's high on my list of potential boy names. Sounds perfect with your other DC names too.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 04/07/2017 12:30

Sounds like a girls name, sorry I don't like it.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/07/2017 12:36

It flows very nicely Gin.
I know an incredibly handsome Corin. 😄

Drybonesthatdream · 04/07/2017 12:38

I thought it was a girls name - although I'm thinking 'corinne' - sorry! They do sound beautiful together but I honestly think it is a more feminine name.

ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap · 04/07/2017 14:15

Doesn't remind me of 'Corinne'; when I've heard the male version pronounced, it's always been as CORR-in, and the female version more like Cuhr-INN?

Quite different sounds!

grufallosfriend · 04/07/2017 14:19

Great combination! Love Corin. (It sounds very different to the female version CorINNE).

Good choice!

Sophronia · 04/07/2017 14:20

Very nice!

Drybonesthatdream · 04/07/2017 14:28

Lady who used to teach my brother was Corinne pronounced 'Corr-in'. Probably why I think it sound feminine. I do think it's a lovely name though and other people's opinions shouldn't factor.

BattyBagshot · 04/07/2017 19:43

To me it's a female name. I know there's Corin Redgrave, but don't know any male Corins in RL, whereas I know 2 female Corins. Both spelt that way. One pronounced Cor-in and the other cuh-rin

bridgetreilly · 04/07/2017 19:46

Great choice. Congratulations!

indigox · 04/07/2017 19:49

I thought it was a girls name. It also feels like a mesh of kit and wren

Ginlinessisnexttogodliness · 04/07/2017 21:14

Both our children have names that technically are unisex so those observations don't bother us really.

We love it, suppose that's all that matters, though I do really appreciate all the input, and wasn't just only wanting compliments.

We have a couple of close reserves if he doesn't look like a Corin but think that's the one.

Not a name I've come across before but it's great. it works with Kit and Wren really well too. Sort of reminds me of three names you'd find in a classic children's book.

mondler · 04/07/2017 21:50

I think it's very nice and def goes well with your other kids names Smile

Raines100 · 04/07/2017 22:32

I really like it and think it's fab with your other two. 'The Horse and his Boy' was my favourite of the books.

hophop333 · 05/07/2017 07:57

Surely Corin is a girls name??? Only met one and it was a lady in her 60s so it would be a no from me for a boy.

Yika · 05/07/2017 08:00

Flows beautifully. Lovely name.

MamaHanji · 05/07/2017 08:08

Name envy! All three are lovely.

Ginlinessisnexttogodliness · 05/07/2017 08:29

@Jooni I just read your post!
