Middle name for Ida??

We have a one syllable surname too.. any suggestions welcome!

Ida Jane, Ida May, Ida Marie

Lovely name! It was our choice for a girl too. We were going to use the middle name Betty, which was my Grandmother's name. The baby was a boy though and so Ida didn't seem appropriate

I do think that Rose is a lovely name for Ida, but it is a very common first name at the moment. Something short though, definitely.

Maybe something longer, as first and surnames are both short?

I know a little Ida Josephine. I think that's very pretty.

I also think that with a short, simple first name like Ida and a monosyllabic surname you can afford to go a little more "out there" for the middle name if you want to. I'm thinking Ida Loveday, Ida Persephone, Ida Clementine... whatever floats your boat really.
