Jude is a nice choice with Brown (he will have his own lullaby Wink) for girls I think Rosalie.

TheSeaTheSkyTheSeaTheSkyyyyyy · 01/07/2017 16:15

I love Meredith.

For the boys, I think names with more than one syllable go better with your surname. I like Jonah and Evan.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/07/2017 16:19

I love Rosalie.
I think Morgan Brown sounds cool !

DramaAlpaca · 01/07/2017 16:27

I really like Morgan Brown too.

I like all your boys names, but I agree with a PP that you need at least a two syllable first name with a one syllable surname.

Your girls names are lovely, especially Emmeline and Rosalie. The only one I'm not mad about is Meredith, but it goes great with Brown.

Sophronia · 01/07/2017 16:31

I like Morgan Brown too.

I like Alexandra and Emmeline best from the girls list.

MarilynWhirlwindRocks · 01/07/2017 16:39

OP,

All your girls' names are very pretty. Smile

If I had to choose, though...Emmeline gets my vote by a tiny fraction.

Rosa and Lucia have no doubt already been considered? Love them, too.

Boy-wise, I'm picking either Jude or Morgan.
(As MammieBear mentioned, a baby Jude also gives you an excuse to sing him a nightly chorus or two of McCartney!).

LittleBlueFish · 01/07/2017 18:56

Is Rosalie Rebecca Brown too many r's?

OP posts:
BewareOfTheToddler · 01/07/2017 20:05

Personally, I'm not keen on alliterative names so I wouldn't put Rosalie with Rebecca, and I would avoid Blake.

Of your girls' names, I like them all and they all go well with your surname. My favourite is Rosalie - such a lovely name.

Of the boys' names, I like Jude best but I agree with the pp who suggested a two-syllable name. Morgan would be my pick.

If it was me, I'd go for Henry, Thomas, Samuel or Joseph. If you like surname-style names, how about Elliott?

LittleBlueFish · 01/07/2017 21:52

How about Rosalie Violet? And Morgan James or Jude Thomas?

OP posts:
SuperBeagle · 01/07/2017 21:55

I love Alexandra.

Luciana... Not a fan, but do love Lucinda and Lucia.

Evan for a boy.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/07/2017 22:45

Rosalie Violet Brown is better, but two colours.
Is there a reason for Rebecca ?
Other suggestions;
Rosalie Emma Brown
Rosalie Marie Brown
Rosalie Carmen Brown
Morgan James Brown is great !

pictish · 01/07/2017 22:48

I like Morgan. Not overly sold on the girl names...Alexandra I think.
Not fond of Jonah - not sure why. Too overtly biblical maybe?

LittleBlueFish · 02/07/2017 09:41

DH has just thrown in Ciara and Elijah

OP posts:
Sugarpiehoneyeye · 02/07/2017 11:27

Not keen on your DHs choices OP, yours are lovely.

Mrsknackered · 02/07/2017 11:39

Alexandra and Morgan.

I love Morgan (for a boy)

Susiethetortoiseshellcat · 02/07/2017 12:08

Love your choices! For a girl my favourites are Rosalie and Meredith. For a boy I love Jonah and Jude. Slightly prefer Jonah as Jude is becoming so popular seem to meet one at every baby group I go to. Jonah is gorgeous, similar vibe to Noah but without the massive popularity. Also love Elijah.

bridgetreilly · 02/07/2017 14:14

Elijah Brown would be a great name.

Emmeline Violet Brown for a girl.

NuffSaidSam · 02/07/2017 15:00

Rosalie and Emmeline are not particularly uncommon. Rosalie itself is not hugely common, but likely to be in a class full of Rosie, Rose and children with double barreled something-Rose. Emmeline is really on the rise. I'd never met one 5 years ago, now I know 6 under the age of 3. And again, she'll be at school with Amelie, Emily, Emmy, Emma and Amelia so lots of similar names.

Alexandra, Luciana and Meredith are all underused. Love Meredith.

I love Jude, but again it's not uncommon. I know loads. I like all the boys names except Morgan.

Ciara again is popular. Elijah is nice and unusual.

teenybean · 02/07/2017 16:51

I have an Alexandra, so that's my favourite, it's so underused!

bluechameleon · 02/07/2017 18:05

Rosalie - like
Alexandra - like
Luciana - not keen
Meredith - love
Emmeline - love

Jonah - like
Jude - like
Evan - not keen
Blake - not keen
Morgan - not keen

NikiBabe · 02/07/2017 18:07

Alexandra (dont like the rest)

Jonah or Jude for boys

JJ36TDR5 · 02/07/2017 18:33

I love Morgan and Elijah.
Like Blake but only for a girl and not with Brown.
Rosalie is my fave out of your girl choices.

pictish · 02/07/2017 18:39

Ciara is a common name here...they can be found hanging out with all the Caitlyns and Chloes.

Lovingitlovingit · 02/07/2017 19:14

I like ALL your names! Maybe Blake and Ciara least (prefer Keira)

17caterpillars1mouse · 02/07/2017 19:18

Rosalie - I so wish it was pronounced Roz-uh-lie. I was so disappointed when I realised it's Rosalee. Love how it looks hate how it sounds

Alexandra - pretty as long as the nn isn't Lexi which I hate
Luciana - gorgeous and love Lucie also
Meredith - beautiful name
Emmeline - love it and nn Emmy

Jonah - really like it though the only one I've met was a brat
Jude - love it. Especially as a nn for Judah
Evan - it's ok. I know a few little Evan's
Blake - hate it
Morgan - gorgeous
