Joshua Louis?

What are your thoughts on Joshua Louis? (Not double barrel, as first and middle name) think I love it (& I find boys names impossible) but don't want to put it to my husband as I think he'l hate it lol.

If I like this what else may I like for a baby boy?

Joshua Louis is very handsome but my DH said no to both names. Some of my 'DH approved names' that may suit yours:

Elliott
Nicholas
Lucas
William
Robert
Isaac
Daniel
Ethan

I think Joshua and Louis are very different styles of names, so not sure that they "go" together very well. But I do like the names separately. Smile

Lovely name, although biased as I have a "Joshua" and I love the name Louis, it's on my list :)

Thank you - I wish the name choices were up to us mums only, I mean we are the ones who do al the work for 9 months so it just seems fair lol.

I put it to DH and he absolutely HATES both names and has said not a chance to both of them together or individually. (I still have 5 months to change his mind though right lol).

The more I think about it the more I want it 🤦‍♀️

I've loved Joshua since I was a teenager which unfortunately has been quite a while now lol. Really like Louis as well although not sure I'd use it as a first name it seems to cute but love it for a middle 😭

Are you prounoucing the s on Louis? Or as Lewee? If your using the S I think it's too many sh noises together but without I think is it's lovely.

@ohlittlepea it would be Louis (Loowee) not Lewis agree Lewis wouldn't at all work with the S sounds

@thisismadness77 haha that might be a good plan. Although I had suggested Joshua with our DS1 and it was a definite no so not sure that would work
