Rocco is terrible, sorry.

I feed my dog Rocco, so for me it's a dog food brand

But it is actually a nice name.

Reminds me of a cartoon character from Rocco's Modern Life (now have the theme tune stuck in my head!).

I don't like it but like all of Sugar's suggestions (except Bruno) and they're similar.

It's not even cool in Italy! Italian children are only called Rocco if their granddad was and they have to honour his memory.

It's very very old-fashioned, and not in a chic way.

I've only known 2, but the image the name conjures up is shirt open to waist, medallion and short cropped curly hair.

Almost was DS' middle name because he was conceived in Morocco

But I didn't think we were cool enough. It's a little bit toooooo cool IYKWIM. Like, truly cool people probably wouldn't pick it. Not saying I'm truly cool of course

Oh but YES to Otto (pp suggestion)! My Italian friends think that's a weird name as only boys with 7 older siblings would be called Otto. But I like it! I was a family on YouTube with the sweetest boy called Otto.

I have a Rocco. I love it obviously! My family are Italian, I also have a Luca.
