@Unadon - thank you Smile do you pronounce it with 1 or 2 syllables? x

Vy-o-lette, with a staccato "o" sound. Not what you're asking, but Violet also reminds me of my favourite character from that Lemony Snicket book series, so extra bonus points for that!

RaspberryRoses · 25/06/2017 16:13

I don't know why I said 1 or 2 Grin I meant 2 or 3! Thank you, @Unadon x

Violet and I pronounce with... Sort of 2.5 syllables. There's an attempt at 3 syllables but it's not quite there

MoonHare · 25/06/2017 16:46

Violet. There are sooo many Graces.

Violet. Lovely name. I also say it with sort of 2.5 syllables, VY-(ah)-lut.

FreeNiki · 25/06/2017 18:45

Grace.

I know 3 Violent's under one and one adult.

Grace is cute.

FreeNiki · 25/06/2017 18:46

Ooh look what my autocorrect changed it to Grin

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 25/06/2017 18:50

Grace.

importanceofhappiness · 25/06/2017 18:55

Violet Grace is a nice name. Use both?

bridgetreilly · 25/06/2017 20:26

Violet. They're both popular at the moment, but Violet is just so pretty. Emphasis on the first syllable, a half-syllable, then a destressed syllable at the end: VI - uh - let.

Violet - I know a Grace, has bad connotations. Being named after a flower is lovely.

Mothervulva · 25/06/2017 20:30

Violet

Sophronia · 25/06/2017 20:46

Grace
