Matthew.

Classic, beautiful name.

Leo sounds lovely as a middle name.

LaGattaNera · 24/06/2017 18:39

Leo - more unusual and noble name

CrownOfPrawns · 24/06/2017 18:55

Matthew, because although I do like Leo, it is quite faddy and will date.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 24/06/2017 18:59

Matthew

Leo.

We had both on our shortlist though didn't go for either in the end. Decided against Matthew as I don't like Matt (knew lots growing up). Still like Leo but agree it's quite popular at the mo.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 24/06/2017 22:14

Matthew.

Is the baby due 23 July - 22 August? If so, then Leo.

JanieLovesLuckySocks · 24/06/2017 22:30

I have a Leo Thomas, always get compliments on his name.

Enjoy him, whichever you choose x

Sophronia · 24/06/2017 22:53

Matthew

NoctisLucisCaelum · 24/06/2017 22:54

Leo.

DramaAlpaca · 24/06/2017 22:59

I really like both.

Matthew is lovely, as long as it's pronounced properly - not Maffew, or the dreadful Machew, as it is where I live. You also need to like Matt, which is pretty much inevitable.

If I had to pick, I'd go for Leo.

CiderwithBuda · 24/06/2017 23:02

I like both. Have a Matthew but worked with a lovely Leo and would have like it but dh not so keen.

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 24/06/2017 23:03

Leo

CauliflowerSqueeze · 24/06/2017 23:05

Leo. Strong but also soft and kind.

CauliflowerSqueeze · 24/06/2017 23:07

I do also like Matthew but round here it would be Maffyou or Matt (without pronouncing the t).

AutumnGlitterBall · 24/06/2017 23:17

Matthew. I probably know about a dozen as well as my son.

Apparently it means gift from God. In the Bible, Matthew was a tax collector.

blahthisistoohard · 24/06/2017 23:44

FixItUpChappie · 25/06/2017 02:42

I think Leo is too popular and fad-like at the moment
