DP and I are seriously considering having kids, and are thinking of name combinations way in advance to ensure we don't end up going with something impulsive that we'll come to regret years on.

We've decided to have an English name and a Japanese name after both our cultures. We've pretty much settled on Shiori (after someone important to me) for a girl, and maybe Takeru for a boy (WDK about this one yet)?

DP is completely lost and is now asking for a list of suggestions! What names do you think will go great with those? Names we like so far are Henry, Ethan, Frederick, Charles, Madeleine, Alexandra, Anna, Charlotte that kinda stuff.

Thanks. Grin

Shiori Anna or Anna Shiori.
Takeru Ethan or Ethan Takeru.

I'd rule of Charlotte. Charlotte Shiori sounds like a TV character

I like Takeru. If it was FN, maybe something simple like Takeru James or Takeru John

Some suggestions:

Shiori Alice
Shiori Catherine
Shiori Celeste
Shiori Elizabeth
Shiori Grace
Shiori Leigh
Shiori Luna
Shiori Mei
Shiori Rose

Adelaide Shiori
Alice Shiori
Alison Shiori
Catherine Shiori
Elizabeth Shiori
Gabrielle Shiori
Genevieve Shiori
Juliette Shiori
Naomi Shiori

Quite like Takure...I also like Haruki, Haruto, Kiyoshi and Takashi for a first name or possible middle name. They could work with:

Blake
Emerson
Grey
James
William
Robert
Thomas
Winter

Thank you all for your suggestions! We quite like Caroline and Elizabeth (though DP thinks with Elizabeth the double "ee" sound might seem too much). I like Emerson, but he thinks it'll be too long when combined with our 4 syllable surname, so James is what's going on the "potential list". Grin
