Elliott I like the two t ending

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 21/06/2017 10:25

Elliott.

NotCertain · 21/06/2017 10:30

I always write it with two T's, so would feel odd leaving one out. But then again, I'm like that with Ann, too (keep itching to add that E!)

grufallosfriend · 21/06/2017 10:31

Elliot

CharlotteLottie · 21/06/2017 10:32

I do like original spellings though but it worries me that he'll always get Elliott Sad

Yes I think it looks nicer without double T.

Apologies for always wanting to do two t's! I suspect the Elliott I went to school with was spelt that way so it sticks.

NoSquirrels · 21/06/2017 10:39

One t for me (& a real favourite name for a boy!)

Daffydil · 21/06/2017 10:44

If DD had been a boy then Elliot with one T was high on the list of potential names.

Elliott looks more like a surname (this is just my own peculiarity I think).

swimmerforlife · 21/06/2017 10:45

My DS2 is an Elliott, he has two Ts because only one T makes it look a bit naked to me (but thats probably my warped brain).

Ginandplatonic · 21/06/2017 10:45

Great name! Prefer one t.

Lemondrop99 · 21/06/2017 10:47

I prefer Elliott. I think it looks more balanced.

I know and Elliot and people are constantly misspelling his name as Elliott. I don't know if it annoys him, but it really annoys me!

Muumi3 · 21/06/2017 15:52

I think Elliot looks much cleaner

AncientOva · 21/06/2017 16:21

My friend has an 11yo Elliott/Elliot, and I still have to check the spelling every single year when I write her Christmas card.

Aliveinwanderland · 21/06/2017 16:23

Elliot. Although people will constantly spell it with two t's anyway!

loobylou10 · 21/06/2017 16:33

My boy is Elliot (other way looks like a surname to me) but be prepared for it ALWAYS to be spelt wrong!

DramaAlpaca · 21/06/2017 16:54

Elliot looks better to me.

Decaffstilltastesweird · 21/06/2017 18:33

I prefer Eliot

Decaffstilltastesweird · 21/06/2017 18:34

Oh ffs Elliot!

MollyHuaCha · 21/06/2017 19:36

Elliott

Sophronia · 21/06/2017 20:01

Elliot

Serendipity36 · 21/06/2017 21:36

Elliot. I think two T's is more to be used for a surname

jumpybluespider · 22/06/2017 13:11

One t. Two t's is the surname.
