Esca or Roman for a boy?

Second baby due soon and did not find out gender. So we're thinking either Esca or Roman for a boy or if it's a girl it would be either Esca or Romy... thoughts?

Thank you in advance :)

All lovely names. I love both Esca and Roman for a boy but I think the latter would probably go down better IRL in terms of people's reactions/ease of spelling etc.

Not as keen on your girls' names but I much prefer Esca on a boy so will put in a vote for Romy.

I'm not keen on unisex names, so I'd go for Roman and Romy.

Esca is rather nice! (as long as your surname isn't Lator)

I would assume you're a Rosemary Sutcliff fan!

Romanesca, perhaps?

I know an amazing Romy and it's short for Romina.
