Initials AF.... am I over thinking this?

Is this a big no-no? I'm aware that kids have started using this acronym recently to mean "as f**k". And then there's Aunt Flo.

Does this mean I have to reconsider potential DS's first name to NOT begin with A? He would have a middle initial too, if that makes a difference? What say you, oh great Mumsnet minds?!

Over thinking it. It's fine.

I don't know anyone in real life who uses Aunt Flo. No way would I put those together.

My DS's initials are A(A)F. He is only six but no one has picked that up yet!

I have an Aunt Flo (possibly worse than initials?). She prefers Auntie Florence. Not a massive issue...

Thanks everyone - feeling reassured! Grin

Definitely overthinking it

Virtually all initials are an acronym for something so really not worth worrying about IMHO

Decaffstilltastesweird · 19/06/2017 14:48

Yes, you are overthinking Grin!

Hothothotsummer · 19/06/2017 14:49

Never heard of Aunt Flo till mumsnet and I have never heard of it in real life

kaytee87 · 19/06/2017 15:00

Haha means AnyFucker to me too Grin

You're over thinking it though op honestly

Readytomakechanges · 19/06/2017 18:40

AF means atrial fibrillation to me, but it wouldn't put me off using the initials.
