Madison or Maisy?

I've seen Madison mentioned a lot, but don't know any. I know a few Maisies, but none are spelt Maisy (I much prefer this spelling).

She's 12 days old and these names are definitely not changing. She'd be Maddie or Maisy.

Madison by a mile. I find Maisy/ Maisie very cutesy.

Pibplob · 17/06/2017 20:39

I prefer maisy (but def prefer Maisie) although Maddie is lovely too.

gunting · 17/06/2017 20:39

I think Maisy is preferable to Maddie

SuperBeagle · 17/06/2017 20:39

Madison nn Maddie

I want to like Maisy but I just don't. I do like Daisy though, funnily.

Elizabeff · 17/06/2017 20:39

i prefer Maisy

zen1 · 17/06/2017 20:40

I'd go for Maisy, probably because I know lots of Madisons / Maddies

Leeds2 · 17/06/2017 20:45

Not keen on either if I'm honest, but I would prefer Maisie. And I would spell it Maisie or she will spend her lifetime having to correct people who misspell it. And who will continue to do so no matter how many times you tell them! (voice of bitter experience)

RaeSkywalker · 17/06/2017 20:48

Maddison.

user1497712427 · 17/06/2017 20:50

@Leeds2 I won't be spelling it Maisie.

@RaeSkywalker I won't be spelling it Maddison.

Maisie.

sticklebrix · 17/06/2017 20:51

Maisy, definitely.

RaeSkywalker · 17/06/2017 20:59

Sorry, honest spelling mistake- there's another thread tuning where Maddison is a potential name. Surely you get what I meant though?!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 17/06/2017 21:28

Maisy, prefer Maisie.

n0ne · 17/06/2017 21:30

I really dislike Madison, intensely. Maisy by miles.

ColourfulOrangex · 17/06/2017 21:31

Maddie

Enidblyton1 · 17/06/2017 21:32

Maisy by a long way. Really don't like Madison (any spelling)

DramaAlpaca · 17/06/2017 22:21

Madison is much nicer.

Maisy is cutesy & twee.

Sophronia · 17/06/2017 22:22

Maisy

EverythingEverywhere1234 · 17/06/2017 22:23

Madison. Maisie/Maisy is twee imo.

grufallosfriend · 18/06/2017 09:00

I'm not keen on either sorry

Maisie is way too cutesy

Madison sounds masculine and is a large US city

Mum12355 · 18/06/2017 09:07

I love maisey 😍

KingPrawnOkay · 18/06/2017 09:07

I like Madison more than Maisy, but I can't stand Maddie.

TestTubeTeen · 18/06/2017 09:15

It all goes to show that everyone likes different things.

I like Maddie but not Madison
Prefer Maisie to Maisy

But other people think the opposite.
