Alexa but...

Basically have come on here to ask for some suggestions if we like the name Alexa but are not to keen on using it (party due to Amazon but also just looking for alternatives). Any similar sounding names you can suggest? Thank you!!!!!

I think Alexa is lovely. I'd still use it, it's not like your calling her Siri Statistically most people probably won't have the Amazon device, so unlikely to come across one that often. Further technology doesn't last forever and it'll soon be outdated and replaced by something else.

People would just accept it as her name honestly, maybe for a second they'd think of the Amazon thingy but then it would just be 'her'. :) It's a great name too.

Alexia and Alexandra are nice alternatives. NN for both could be Alex, Lexi or Ally.

One of my best friends is Alexandra nn Alex (much much nicer than Alix!).

Looooove Alexis, considered it for this abby if he was a girl (yes, I know it's originally a boys name...)

You can change the name on Alexa so that when you say the kid's name, the device it won't respond.

Alexa is gorge. Also really like just Alix.
