Don't like any of the others

Mummamayhem · 15/06/2017 20:06

I would choose Alfie or lucas for a boy and from the girls list, Rosa and maybe elise.

Bestseller2017 · 15/06/2017 20:11

I like your girls names.
Love Roseanne.

Maybe Alfie or Nathan from your boys list.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 15/06/2017 20:14

Spell it 'Rhys' and I love it! Not keen on your other boy choices, sorry...

Sabrina, Rosa and Tamsin are lovely.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 15/06/2017 20:16

Acacia - no
Alexa - maybe. Nice enough but it's a bit appy
Carys - no

ThaliaLuxurySpa · 16/06/2017 00:23

Lucas is nice, Luca is lovely. Smile

Ditto Alexa and Alexia.

Elise and Rosa are favourites of mine, so definite thumbs up there.

iamghosted · 11/12/2017 22:07

Lucinda is beautiful.

iamghosted · 11/12/2017 22:08

Tristan for a boy.

NerrSnerr · 11/12/2017 22:09

My favourites are Nathan and Alexa.

Patal · 12/12/2017 06:54

Reagan Reece and Tristan are fab on your boys list - Reagan just peaks at the top for me.

Girls list have none that madly stand out for me but Lucinda is the best due to the ability for multiple nn if wanted.

NotAgainYoda · 12/12/2017 07:03

They are quite a mixed bag.

I like Nathan and Lucas

I really dislike Tristan (posh) and Reagan (surname, and ex-President)

I like Vanessa, Carys and Elise

I dislike Alexa (Chung, and Amazon device) and Sabrina (1970s)

17caterpillars1mouse · 12/12/2017 07:07

Alfie - I don't mind it but it was very popular around 5 years ago. I think I prefer Alfred so he can be Fred as an adult if he wants as I find Alfie a bit toddler

Jordan - seems very 90s. I'm not a fan.

Lucas - nice name

Nathan - it's ok but i much prefer Nathaniel

Reagan - very American sounding. I dislike it

Reece - seems dated and a 'naughty boys' name. Spell it Rhys however and it's less so

Tristan - nice enough

Acacia - not a fan

Alexa - pretty but i imagine too associated with Amazon at the time being

Carys - ok just not a fan of the sound

Chloe - pretty name

Elise - nice enough. I prefer Eloise

Lucinda - pretty but i prefer just Lucy

Rosa - lovely name

Roseanne - nice

Sabrina - I like it

Tamsin - love it. Especially as a nn for Thomasina

Vanessa - pretty

mum2be2boys · 12/12/2017 07:35

Some lovely choices! My favourites are

Alfie
Lucas
Nathan

Alexa
Carys
Lucinda

NinonDeLenclos · 12/12/2017 08:48

For girls Carys, Rosa.

Don't like any of the boys names - Reagan, Reece and Jordan are very chavvy.

MancUnicorn · 12/12/2017 16:16

Boys:
Alfie - know so many boys and dogs named this
Jordan - not a fan
Lucas - I like this
Nathan - Like
Reagan - Didn't like it at first but growing on me
Reece - Nice
Tristan - Nice

Girls:
Acacia - Lovely
Alexa - not for me, reminds me of the Amazon thing
Carys - love it
Chloe - not a fan, know so many girls with it. It is a pretty name though
Elise - nice
Lucinda - too much for me but like the nicknames
Rosa - nice
Roseanne - nice
Sabrina - omg the teenage witch!
Tamsin - LOVE. On my list
Vanessa - also on my list. Some people find it quite a harsh name but I like it

glitterbiscuits · 12/12/2017 16:22

Acacia Avenue ? Is popular fictional street.

Alexa is the name for Amazon echo

Smoliver · 13/12/2017 22:22

From your list I like...

Boys:
Jordan
Lucas
Nathan
Reece

Girls:
Chloe
Rosa
Roseanne
Sabrina
Vanessa

buttercup54321 · 13/12/2017 23:14

Chloe. Nathaniel would be okay. Not Acacia Avenue though. And Reece reminds me of grease.

Sevendown · 14/12/2017 00:32

Alfie vv trendy
Jordan Katie price
Lucas Star Wars but still good
Nathan bit dated now
Reagan American
Reece good but will have to spell out
Tristan good but posh

Acacia love this!
Alexa that voice thing
Carys good
Chloe 1990s
Elise good
Lucinda cindy not a good nn
Rosa plain
Roseanne old woman
Sabrina good
Tamsin ok
Vanessa maybe due for a revival?

undertheradarplease · 16/12/2017 22:02

LOVE LOVE LOVE Carys. Such a pretty name with a really great meaning. Not overused or 'made up' but also inoffensive.

Lucas gets my vote for the boys. It's stylish and current but not too 'of it's time' IYSWIM.
