Alex - Alexander

I prefer Alex to Alexander but it seems a bit unfinished. Would be used for a middle name so I know it would only really be shown on BC etc. But which one to you prefer/ looks right?

First and last name is Longer (7 letters - each 2 syllables) if that makes a difference.

Thanks.

I think Alex is one of those short forms of longer names that works perfectly well as a name in its own right.

So I think Alex on its own as the middle name would be fine if you prefer it to Alexander, especially as the names either side are longer.

Short version - go for it!

Alexander for me, when used as a middle name.

I do like Alex too, but less so as a middle name.
