She is 2 days old... Any opinions and views welcome Smile thanks!

Dorothy is great! I love it. Which does she suit best do you think op?

ScarletSienna · 13/06/2017 19:10

I really like Grace but as a clumpy teenager I would have hated it. I'd have felt a bit ridiculous as I wasn't graceful at all and think I'd have been teased mercilessly about it.
Dorothy is ok - it's a bit fusty though.

lobsterface · 13/06/2017 19:12

Grace

MikeUniformMike · 13/06/2017 19:31

Dorothy is nice because it is not so common. I know a Dot and it so suits her. Grace is lovely but a bit too popular.

Orangedaisy · 13/06/2017 19:34

Dorothea nn Thea.

Bobbybobbins · 13/06/2017 19:36

Oooh Dorothea, great suggestion!!!!

PinkFingers · 13/06/2017 19:38

I'm not really sure which one she suits the best Sad

Dorothea is nice, but DH thinks it's too fussy!

Dorothy/Dorothea is a great name. My middle name. It means gift of God. I've always thought it's lovely. Grace is ok but quite overused.

Fozzleyplum · 13/06/2017 19:39

Definitely Dorothy or Dorothea. Nothing wrong with Grace, but sooooo popular a few years ago. The nns for Dorothy are so good, too - Dot, Dotty, Dolly, or Thea if you have Dorothea as the full name.

I'm not at all biased (fab, dear departed grandmother and very-much-alive cat called Dorothy and Dotty respectively)!

Jooni · 13/06/2017 19:45

I'd go with Dorothy. Grace is pretty but they are everywhere. Baby Dot - n'awww...

oldjacksscrote · 13/06/2017 19:49

I love the name Dorothy, I know someone who is called Dottie and I think its a lovely name. Grace is a nice name too but its quite popular.

MikeUniformMike · 13/06/2017 19:52

Dorothy Grace. If she doesn't like Dorothy she could use Grace.

MollyHuaCha · 13/06/2017 19:54

Grace, it's lovely (unless she is clumsy)

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 13/06/2017 20:44

Grace.

SuperBeagle · 13/06/2017 20:48

Grace.

I don't like Dorothy but I do like Dora a lot and would choose Dora over Grace

Thetruthfairy · 13/06/2017 20:50

Dorathy is really cute, love it (but I must say, if I think about myself as the baby, and what I would have wanted to be named, Grace wins).

Jojobythesea · 13/06/2017 20:59

Love Dorothy, was one of my choices. Dot for short Smile. LOADS of Graces in my boys primary school.

ew1990 · 13/06/2017 21:01

Grace is the top of my list - just need to wait for 20 week scan lol xx

jollyjester · 13/06/2017 21:04

I have a Grace so I'm biased.

Love Dorothy as well. Congratulations! Flowers

disastrousflapjack · 13/06/2017 21:18

Congratulations. I love the name Dorothy. Years ago I worked in a reception class with a little Dottie. I thought it was really cool and really suited the little girl. There's quite a lot of Graces at the moment and although it's a lovely name, I prefer Dorothy.

17caterpillars1mouse · 13/06/2017 21:32

Dorothy Grace is beautiful

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 13/06/2017 21:52

Dorothy Grace

Joeybee · 14/06/2017 10:22

Like both names quite a bit. Prefer Grace though.

Blomme · 14/06/2017 10:24

Grace nn Gracie.

ILookedintheWater · 14/06/2017 10:35

Sooo many Graces at the moment.
Dorothy is charming and lots of NN options.
