What you think of Jasper?

I'm in hospital having been induced and seem to have ruled out all our possible boys names. I mentioned Jasper yesterday as a new suggestion which DH instantly liked.
1 syllable surname, brother is Jonny

Really like it. Ds2 I wanted to call Jasper but dh wouldn't let me.

The OP asked what people thought of Jasper. I think it makes me think of rabbits and I explained why. That's why I mentioned a random animal ha ha. Doesn't mean I don't like the name ...

I know 2 Jaspers, both adults. I love it.

I've heard it quite a lot lately, two of of friends have baby/ toddler Jaspers and there is one at my sons school. I don't love it but can't pinpoint why.

Love it. Mine is 9. I first heard the name as the dutch pronunciation (j= our y) and fell in love with it so we use that. It is one of the reasons I married my dutch DH😉

I loved it so much I named my cat Jasper! But then again there are loads of animals called human names, so if you like it use it

I have a Jasper. I love the name. He's super cool. We have only ever had positive comments about his name (not that I care what anyone else thinks but there you go)
