Francesca, Betsy or Nelle

Just interested to find out people's opinions on the names Francesca, Betsy or Nelle.
Too long, too short, not sure about the shorten version etc?

They are all quite different but we now have them as our top three girls names.
Baby is due in four weeks, we think we are sorted for a boys name but are struggling with girls.
Any suggestions would also be gratefully received.

I like Nelle, others will hate it and prefer one of the others. Choose the name you mike

I am not sure about Nelle. How is it pronounced?

I like Francesca and Betsy, not so keen on Nelle.

Nelle seems a bit of an odd spelling. It would normally be Nell or Nellie, surely. I also prefer the longer versions of Eleanor/Helen, etc, for Nell, and Elizabeth to Betsy. But Francesca is my favourite.

Would choose Francesca at a push but there are much nicer Italian names

Francesca as the others are all shortened names

Would you say Nell-eh/Nella or Nell?

Francesca but I love Frankie as nn and also like Chesca although not a fan of just Fran.

I've never seen Nelle with that spelling before, only Nell on here and a Nel in real life.

I love francesca! Also love Nell (but not Nelle). I'm not so keen on Betsy, sorry.

Francesca is my favourite, and so pretty.

The other two seem cluncky and harsh.

Nell is lovely, then a Betsy.

Francesca isn't for me, too long and for want of a better word clunky.

I know a few little Betsys. Not so keen myself on that or Nelle so prefer Francesca.

I like Nell. But not spelled Nelle.

For once on these sort of threads I like all 3. My favourite is Betsy

My favourite is Francesca, followed by Betsy. Not so keen on Nelle - I prefer Nella.

Elizabeth on BC then Betsy for nn.

Nell is a beautiful name!
Betsy is way too 'cutesy' for a grown adult imo and sounds more like a nn
