Possible contender, but, is it seen as maybe a bit too common? Or (don't want to sound like a snob but) a bit chavvy?

Also, what nicknames other than Logie?

I know one but his parents are from the states. It's not to my taste, but if you like it, that's all that matters.

Sophronia · 10/06/2017 17:21

Not keen.

ineedamoreadultieradult · 10/06/2017 17:23

I know one and his parents are American. I don't think it works as well in the UK

harderandharder2breathe · 10/06/2017 17:26

A bit chavvy to me sorry. Also can't help with alternative NN, the only one I know is Logie (he's little) I'm not sure how well that will age as he gets to a teen and adult

MurrayMoo · 10/06/2017 20:05

Thanks ladies, yeah not a great reception. Maybe I'll put that one on he back burner... x

Deffo put on the back burner. Sounds like the 'hero' in a corny Mills and Boon novel.

MrsRaymondReddington · 10/06/2017 20:19

I like it. It was on our list if we had a boy.

But...we had a girl and then 3 people in my aquanatal class had Logans! There were maybe 15 people in the class.

SuperBeagle · 10/06/2017 20:58

I don't like it. It reminds me of spit (loogie).

Kittykatmacbill · 11/06/2017 08:33

Nah.
Okay if Australian otherwise a bit odd.

milkjetmum · 11/06/2017 08:36

Could be more popular amongst wolverine fans? I think it's a nice name.

PodgeBod · 11/06/2017 12:13

I think it's played out to be honest

DearMrDilkington · 11/06/2017 12:17

I like Logan, it's getting popular though so that'd put me off.

juneau · 11/06/2017 12:18

Nay

hoddtastic · 11/06/2017 12:32

i don't like it, not my cuppa tea at all.

JaimeLannister · 11/06/2017 16:06

Huge Wolverine fan here and I do love the name.

IntheBenefitTrap · 11/06/2017 16:11

I've taught lots of Logans. It's very popular now, think that's why I don't like it. It sounds quite a harsh name. Also gets shortened to Loag.

KoalaDownUnder · 11/06/2017 16:14

Nah.
Okay if Australian otherwise a bit odd.

I'm Australian and I still find it a bit odd.

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 11/06/2017 17:19

I have an almost 16yo Logan.

It wasn't as popular then as now but it's still my favourite ever boys name.

He gets called Loag, but when he was little we called him Logie bear.

He's the only Logan in his school.

SuperBeagle · 11/06/2017 20:50

Australian? I'm Australian and have never met a Logan. It's not a popular name here. Confused

KoalaDownUnder · 11/06/2017 21:28

^ Agree, Super.

It strikes me as a very American name, if anything.

topcat2014 · 11/06/2017 21:31

My car is a Logan, other than that it's fine

SuperBeagle · 11/06/2017 22:02

Koala It sounds very American to me too.

SleepFreeZone · 11/06/2017 22:05

It's a nah from me. Sounds a bit naughty boy

buttercup54321 · 11/06/2017 23:46

More of a surname really
