Middle name that goes well with Stanley?

Would really like him to have a middle name but can't think of anything that sounds right.

(Took long enough to think of a first name)

Thanks for helping.

Robin was my first thought. I think 'Stanley Robin' has a nice ring to it...

I agree with all sugarpie's suggestions, I think a traditional, one-syllable name goes best. Of the three I think James is my favourite.

Are there any names in the family you'd like to use? Eg your father's or grandfather's first or middle name?

MikeUniformMike · 01/06/2017 16:28

Matthews

disneykid · 01/06/2017 16:33

Thank you for all of the suggestions so far! I was thinking of a name more traditional like Thomas/Jack or something so glad everyone seems to agree.

We've been going through family members names but everyone has rhyming
Gary
Barry
Harry
Sort of name which aren't great and don't sound very nice so we've decided to go with one we like instead of after someone in the family.

Just...baby Stan? 😄 Sorry - wouldn't be my choice but I hope it suits your DS. (Genuinely not trying to be mean - but this topic does invite opinion!)

disneykid · 01/06/2017 17:44

I didn't mean to sound rude in the comment back I just didn't really know what you meant haha. My mum keeps saying it's an old man name too, and I know not everyone will love it but I don't expect them too either haha.

I also really wasn't trying to be rude to you either! I'm really glad you've settled on a name - it's so hard! And you think of all the 'old lady' names in fashion at the moment, Stanley is probably bang on trend. All the best to you and your brand new DS!
