Cleo or Lila?

I've already got one little girl, Sadie. Is Cleo or Lila better for her sister? My reservation with Cleo is I'm worried it sounds like it's trying too hard. I think it's cool though. Love Lila but feel like there's loads of similar around and rhymes with Isla which I seem to know loads of.
Both ok with surname.
What do you think?

Norky- that's a pretty amazing name! Love Cleo

KoalaDownUnder · 26/05/2017 02:44

I adore Cleo.

LobsterBisque · 26/05/2017 03:15

I prefer Cleo by a clear mile. However, it does look a tad "what-is-it-short-for-y" IMHO.

I love cleo it's really pretty and I haven't heard of it before. It doesn't sound try hard at all

Cleo. Fantastic name.

marmitecrumpets · 26/05/2017 14:23

Lila.
Goes well with Sadie

Epipgab · 26/05/2017 19:34

Cleo is a better match with Sadie I think. They both have a similar vibe IMO.

Cleo goes best with your other daughters name.

Really weird, I’ve just stumbled across this post.. I have a 3 year old called Lila and guess what my 6 month old is called 😂. Personally I love both the names obviously and they go great with Sadie x

Cleo

Intercom · 15/12/2017 15:31

I prefer Lila.

mywayalltheway · 15/12/2017 17:16

Definitely Cleo

TurquoiseDress · 15/12/2017 19:00

Most definitely Cleo!

With Lila you'll spend the whole time correcting pronunciation of it- it's a beautiful looking name but I'd be put off using it as there is more than one way of saying it.

Cleo is cool and non-ambiguous!

TeaAndPjs · 15/12/2017 19:06

I prefer Cleo but both nice

TheCarteDOrElephant · 15/12/2017 19:18

Cleo, deffo!

(Or the full Cleopatra if the "what is it short for?" vibe that a PP brought up bothers you!)

TaggieRR · 15/12/2017 19:20

Old thread- I think the baby has a name now!

hellowembley · 15/12/2017 22:53

She does! And it’s Cleo!

Ha ha, awesome!

Cleo is a fab name.

LoveInTokyo · 16/12/2017 17:54

They are both lovely names but Cleo is more unusual and easier to pronounce. If you go for Lila some people will say Leela and some people will say Lyla.

LoveInTokyo · 16/12/2017 17:55

Ha, just seen this is an old thread. Congrats to you and baby Cleo!
