Ava is a bit over used right now, so on that note alone I would go with Everly.

Everly is a surname, so of the two it would have to be Ava for me.
But it is massively popular, so I would look for something different.

I really like both but I would go with Everly. Although I like the name in its entirety, wouldn't want it shortened to Eve/Evey

Ava is very popular but still lovely. Everley will potentially get mis-heard as Beverley?
as a Kirsty who constantly gets "Cathy?" It may prove irritating Grin

I think Ava is lovely.

Everly is old fashioned sounded IMO.

I always think of the way the name is shorted, Ava wouldn't really get shorted,
Everley would be "Ev" which is too close to "Bev" for me

I think with Everly it will be a lifetime of correcting people that's it's not Beverley when introduced as a PP said.

Don't like Everly at all. She'll be known as Ev or Evvie.
Ava is much nicer imo, but overused right now.

Ava is overused, Everly is a surname. Sounds like you wanted Evelyn but gave up before the end.
