I work in a primary school, and I think the most popular names there at the moment are Olivia and Lily for girls, and Oliver and Alex for boys (one of the Alexes is actually short for a slightly different, eastern European version of Alexander though). Also quite a few Jayden/Jadens and Lexi(e)s and variations of Keira.

In our area its Sophie, Chloe, Lola, Lyla, Scarlett and Evie for girls.
Joshua, Oscar, George, Charlie, and Noah for boys

Every boy I meet these days seems to be called Alfie.
And they're all really badly behaved if they're not longer a baby.
All girls seem to be a combination of
Ellie/Ella/Evie/Eva/Lily/Lillie-May/Mai/Mae

My 2 eldest Children have current 'popular' names but I've only come across 1 other child with each of the same names, my youngest has an increasingly 'popular' name. .but only know of 1 other child...slightly older, with that name

In my area, Isabelle ( various spellings) seem to be everywhere!! I know of 15 under two.

I seem to be friends with people who call their daughters Iris. I know 4, another who used it as a middle name and yet another who had it as a top pick but it was vetoed by their dp. It's not even that popular a name on the charts.

For boys, I am rollling in Jameses and Williams.
