bigchris · 13/05/2017 07:10

My dd is in year 5 and I'd say the most common grill name is Amelia , Gus is pretty common too, and Harry, George and Dylan

17caterpillars1mouse · 13/05/2017 07:11

3 Oliver's
3 Holly's
3 Emily's

Those 3 names alone nearly make up a classroom!

I also know 3+ Rory's, Harry's, Rhys/Reece's, Olivia's, Sophia's, I could go on.

Berrybakecake1 · 13/05/2017 07:18

MaddeningtheUnhelpful · 13/05/2017 07:24

Oliver and Isla seem to be the 'big names' here

MrsPringles · 13/05/2017 07:39

I'd like to know where all the Archies are! I have a nearly 3 yr old one, we go to a looooot of toddler classes/groups and I have honestly never come across another one
I'm in Kent

I know a lot of Noah's, Jacks and Alfie's. Girls Amelia/Emilia, Harper, Ruby, Evie

Crunchymum · 13/05/2017 07:39

DS has a top 10 name but is the only one in his preschool (45 kids). In fact the only duplicated name in his preschool is Amber (2 of them)

OhDearToby · 13/05/2017 07:54

Names that I know more than one of (age 7 and under)
Grace
Olivia
Rosie

Aiden
Angus
Henry
Hamish (I'm in Scotland)

It's strange though, when I look the top 10 names most of them I've never come across in 7 years of toddler groups/nursey/school.

megletthesecond · 13/05/2017 07:58

Evie / Eva / Ava / Grace

Ethan / Harry

These are mainly junior school age children.

MarcelineQueen · 13/05/2017 08:04

Phoebe, mya/Maia, lily/Lilly

Theodore, Freddie, Harry

Aside from these I rarely come across any duplicate names, maybe because we're in a multicultural city.

Disappointingly I have yet to come across an Isla, as its a beautiful name and its "popularity" put me off

MarcelineQueen · 13/05/2017 08:05

Oh and also Scarlett, I even think they all have the same middle name if Rose

Hulababy · 13/05/2017 08:31

I work in an infant school so just under 300 children aged 4-7.

We don't really have that many duplicates overall which surprises me.

Of the most popular (and I'm talking of maybe 2-4 children with the same name across school):

Girls: Emma, Clementine, Evie, Amelia,

Boys: Toby, Ben, Isaac,

Susiethetortoiseshellcat · 13/05/2017 08:42

Boys: Noah, Theo, Elliott
Girls: Olivia, Evie, Amelia

Oh and Joshua. I know 4 under 5s called this.

Iwantmoretimetomyself17 · 13/05/2017 08:51

ForTheLoveOfSleep · 13/05/2017 08:54

CaipirinhasAllRound · 13/05/2017 09:21

There are 4 boys in my 3 year old's room at nursery called Max

howthelightgetsin · 13/05/2017 09:21

There is an Amelia in every single baby group I've been to.

Vanillaradio · 13/05/2017 10:23

For girl's ds's age (3) it is Olivia by miles. One or more in every baby or toddler group and at nursery.
Boys his age probably come across Jacob and Max the most.
Babies I would say Ava and Isla for girls, boys Noah and George.

Thatextrainch · 13/05/2017 11:10

Alexander, Oliver, James and Ben.

Sophia, Isla, Olivia

(Under 3s)
