I've changed my name as obviously this thread totally identifies me.

I have three children already called
Nina
Eliza
Hector

Dc4 coming out of the sun roof very soon. Here is our shortlist
Anna - this is our favourite and honours DH's recently deceased nan, but is it too close to Nina?
Violet - the DD's choice
Anya
Esther

My favourite is Esther.

Heathcliffitsme · 06/05/2017 09:33

Esther and Hector are also similar sounding! The only different one is Violet which I personally don't like.

As a stand alone name I like Anna the best.

AnotherAnnoyingMother · 06/05/2017 09:42

Dora or Anna - but kids might call her Ahhhna..

MyNameIsntTaken · 06/05/2017 09:46

Anna and Nina are fine together. They match but are to similar sounding still. It's not like Sarah and Farah or something, they just go nicely together. And it does fit in nicely with your other childrens names.

HexeSauerkraut · 06/05/2017 09:57

Maybe Hannah?

susannahmoodie · 06/05/2017 10:08

What about Annie or Anne?

Rainsbow · 06/05/2017 10:28

Annabel/le
Annalise

ChippersAndRunt · 06/05/2017 10:34

Violet would work.

Viola, Elizabeth, Dora, Nora or maybe Annora?

Sophronia · 06/05/2017 11:46

Anna is lovely and fine with Nina

Batteriesallgone · 06/05/2017 12:11

Lottie991 · 06/05/2017 12:14

I love the name Anna

BearGryllsHasaBigRope · 06/05/2017 12:16

Anna is a beautiful name and not too close to Nina imo

LapCatLicker · 06/05/2017 12:20

I think Willa is a really lovely name I am Canadian though so your theory might be correct Smile. I think Nina and Anna are different enough.

My great-grandparents named their 10th and 11th children Norman and Norma. They both turned out fine, although Norman was known as Darbo his entire life...

useryourillusion · 06/05/2017 12:24

Violette

Annette

Anais

Annika

Please keep us posted OP!

(love new babies)

DramaAlpaca · 06/05/2017 12:24

Anna is fine with Nina. It's gorgeous, classic & international too.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 06/05/2017 18:03

I love Anna, but I think in this case, you having a Nina, I would go for Anya Violet.

frums · 06/05/2017 18:22

Baby Anna Theodora born today weighing an enormous 10lbs 4oz and already looking three months old. She weighs as much as her two older sisters added together at birthweight! She is gorgeous.

Lovely name. Well done OP. Flowers

Mysterycat23 · 06/05/2017 18:41

Portia

Don't know why, seems to go nicely with the siblings Grin

Anna isn't too close to Nina I don't think as they start with different letters.

Mysterycat23 · 06/05/2017 18:42

That'll teach me not to rtft Blush
