Can't agree on a name!

DH and I are expecting DD2 in August, and cannot agree on any names! the best we can get is one of us likes it and the other doesn't hate it, we went through loads of names on one of those baby name list websites. The only name we've 100% agreed on was DD1's name - Isabella.

My favourite name is Beatrice (and I loved Violet for DD1 but he wasn't keen). His are Sophia and Lyra. He also feels no desire to come up with any more suggestions at this point as "we've got ages left" plus he just wants me to give in and let him have Sophia but I'd feel better if we even had a few we were in agreement on!

Any suggestions I can offer to him?

Oh I love Beatrice. Bella and Bea is amazing together. I'm jealous. You need to convince him it's Beatrice. But I do like sophia also so I would be happy with that.
Violet and Lyra are horrible in my opinion.

I would try to convince him to use Beatrice too!

Thanks for the suggestions...sadly most of the ones I like from the suggested have already been denied by DH or are in use by other family members! Although I quite like Maya - maybe spelled Maia?

I just can't see (hear?) myself calling this one anything but Beatrice I really want DH to give in! I don't much like Sophia and it will end up as Soph. I kind of wanted Thea for a bit but regional accent means it will sound like Fea!

Violet equally is an awesome name.
Sophia is way too popular.
Lyra....I just think of lycra tbh.

I think you should try and work him down with the names you like - they are on point names.

No. cant get that to work in my head at all.

Maybe buy a baby name book rather than look online? I think it's a bit easier to discover new names this way rather than continuously get the same ones thrown at you on a website.

As Gigi suggests. Try books. (I borrowed several from the library when I was pregnant with DC2).
