Hi all I'm struggling to name my twin girls due in June. I have chosen the name Hannah for one but struggling to pick a second name. I like traditional names. Any ideas/ help would be appreciated!!

I know sisters called Hannah and Ava because of the palindrome!
or Ada?

Not reversible but Hannah and Florence or Hannah and Hester sound lovely to me.

My DTs have always liked the idea that their names have the same number of letters in them. It makes it "fair" for things like jigsaw puzzles made up of their names.

My own choice would be Hannah and Louise. Make sure that whatever you choose isn't set in one particular order, eg, don't always refer to them as "Hannah and Louise", make sure "Louise and Hannah" is used just as much.

I really like Hannah and Ada. Hannah and Anina or Hannah and Aziza would work as well, I guess (but those names aren't that traditional, so maybe not). I personally love Aviva, but the insurance company...

MiddlimMum

A mother of twin boys once told me that she purposely gave her older twin a name that wouldn't be called first if somebody were to go through a name list in alphabetical order.

Whereas they apparently always name the older one first...

She said they did it to prevent feelings of inequality etc. Seeing as she herself has twin brothers (she herself isn't a twin) I kind of assumed she knew what she was talking about....

Thanks ladies there's so many lovely names there. I only have three weeks to go so need to make a decision. I'm thinking maybe Hannah and Lucy, Hannah and Jessica or Hannah and Juliet.
