NNs for Gaia or Enfys?

Just the above. Can either of these be shortened?

Gee? Aia/Aya? (not gay, obviously...)

Enfys is Welsh, right? I don't know any Welsh, so I honeslty have no idea what would make sense.

My first language is German. So, Idk... True, I guess if I had to spell the sounds (?) in English "guy" is the sound.

But if I were to do it in German it's just "Gai" :)

Her middle name is also a G, so she's Gigi as a nickname.

Pick the name you like. They are both lovely.

If you need a nickname it will emerge organically overtime - I have a long name which has never been shortened but didn't stop my parents having changing family nicknames for me as I grew up.

Yep, Enfys is En-vis. It's Welsh for 'rainbow'.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! Particularly like Aya for Gaia and Fizz for Enfys. Middle name will be Fae (fairy, French) for whatever first name I choose. Thanks again :)

Call her Gaia and just Gaia! It's an absolutely gorgeous name. No need for convoluted nicknames!

Sorry, Fizz doesn't work with Enfys. The f in Enfys is pronounced "v" so would confuse the pronunciation of Enfys if the nickname used an "f" sound.

Why do you need to shorten such a nice short complete name as Gaia?
