He's 3 days old Smile it's really sad to just keep calling him 'baby boy'!

  • Aleksander (with the nickname Aleks or Olek - which do you prefer?)
  • Aron
  • Artur
  • Benedykt
  • Bruno
  • Emil
  • Iwan
  • Izaak
  • Jakub (with the nickname Kuba)
  • Olaf (not good in the UK?)
  • Oskar
  • Teodor

Middle name = Gabriel Smile thank you very much.

Aleksander with Olek as nn.

Congratulations!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 17/04/2017 16:46

Benedykt Gabriel.
Would you not consider Gabriel as a first name

YoungYolandaYorgensen39 · 17/04/2017 16:57

Any of them work for me. Good list.

I really like Kuba.

Or Bruno or Benedykt.

Congrats x

sticklebrix · 17/04/2017 17:01

Bruno. But all of them are lovely.

I might be tempted to avoid Olaf for now because of Frozen.

Congratulations!

DartmoorDoughnut · 17/04/2017 17:02

I love Gabriel so much I can't choose one of the others, sorry!

Abetes · 17/04/2017 17:05

I like Gabriel best too!!!

DaisyChainsForever · 17/04/2017 17:07

My vote is for Jakub

JaeDon · 17/04/2017 17:08

They're all lovely - but I particularly like Bruno, Artur and Kuba (Jakub). I'd probably avoid Olaf although it is a really nice name.

memyselfandaye · 17/04/2017 17:09

Another vote for Gabriel

Freyanna · 17/04/2017 17:10

Gabriel.Bear

Laquila · 17/04/2017 17:11

Bruno is a really great name, also like Benedykt and Jakub. And Emil, in fact! I guess it depends how anglicised you want it to feel?

BackforGood · 17/04/2017 17:11

I think it depends how much you would be bothered with people spelling them differently ? (I'm presuming from your Olaf comment you are Polish, but living in the UK?)

So, Aleksander is lovely, but it will be spelled Alexander (Alex) by almost everyone when they first go to write it, and then the same applies for a lot of the others too - you'd get

Aaron
Arthur
Benedict
Ivan
Isaac
Jacob
Oscar
Theodore

Now - if that is fine with you, then I like lots of them, but if you want to avoid that, then one of the others would make more sense, probably. Smile

AgentOprah · 17/04/2017 17:12

Aleksander, Bruno and Oskar are my favourites.

Enidblyton1 · 17/04/2017 17:13

I love Bruno (also the easiest for English people to spell if that's a consideration!)

HeyCat · 17/04/2017 17:14

Jakub or teodor

Error404usernamenotfound · 17/04/2017 17:16

Congratulations!

I think Teodor is fab - nn Teo or Ted, depending on how much you want to Anglicise it.

Gabriel's lovely too, and probably works best in the UK in terms of people getting spelling and pronunciation right.

I don't like Bruno or Olaf; the others are OK but he will spend his entire life correcting spelling and pronunciation. (admittedly Teodor woudn't be without it's problems on that score, but I've just slightly fallen in love with it Grin )

FirstSeemItThenBeIt · 17/04/2017 17:16

Ooh, Benedykt is a great name!!

cosytoaster · 17/04/2017 17:17

Aleksander or Benedykt - I have Gabriel as a middle name for DS2 but wish I'd held out for it as a first name!

Sophronia · 17/04/2017 17:21

Artur Gabriel or Bruno Gabriel

booksandhearts · 17/04/2017 17:24

Love Bruno!,
Congrats btw x

DramaAlpaca · 17/04/2017 17:59

Jakub, because that's DS's friend's name and he's lovely Smile

It's a nice list of names, you can't go wrong really.

EzioAuditore · 17/04/2017 18:45

A lovely set of names, so it's hard to choose! I think Artur Gabriel just edges it for me. And congratulations!

TyrionLannistersShadow · 17/04/2017 18:47

I like Izaak myself.

FeedTheSharkAndItWIllBite · 17/04/2017 18:54

I wish Gabriel Benedykt was an option...

I like Bruno and Emil.

plutohasfeelingstoo · 17/04/2017 19:03

I love Emil
