Middle names for Eliza or Olivia

First baby due in October and we have narrowed our boy choice down to Isaac ( love so much the story of Sarah and Abraham and that it means 'laughter' in Hebrew) plus middle name for him. However we are stuck between Eliza and Olivia for a girl, and don't have a middle name for either/both yet. Any suggestions? Feel like the middle name may swing it!

May. Rolls off the tongue for either of them.

Love Raphaella but our surname begins with an L so there would be a bit of a La La La feel to it haha! Same reason why we had to veto Emily, Lily, Molly, anything too 'L'-y. Do like Raphaella though!

My sister had a baby recently and chose the same name and throughout the pregnancy had Eliza but just before chose a different spelling "Alyzah". The baby is now called Alyzah Victoria because Victoria is my mother and great grandmothers name. I wasn't sure about the spelling but have gotten used to it. Baby is 3 months old now.

Not May, there must be so many little girls with the middle name May/Mae

Have you got a long or short surname?

Mandraki · 17/04/2017 09:26

So many good suggestions thank you!

Not a fan of May/Mae as it's just so done, also would worry that people would call her Eliza-May (with a hyphen)which I'm trying to avoid.

Surname is very short, one syllable.

NC for this, as potentially outing.

We have an October born Olivia, who is Olivia Autumn. Not just because of the season, I always loved the name Autumn, but was never brace enough to use it as the primary name.
