Hello,

Keeping our names a secret in real life so would love to get a sense check.

We already have a Jasper and wondered what you thought about these names for our second baby? (coming any day now!)

Victor or Tobias
Eliza or Isabelle

We are in the U.K. If that helps!
Thanks so much for your thoughts x

❤️ Victor
Not overly keen on Tobias, because I don't like Toby.
Prefer Isobel, written this way.
Lots of Eliza's around.
Jasper and Victor
Jasper and Isobel/Isabelle

Total opposite to the poster above. I think Tobias sounds nicer with Jasper, not keen on Victor personally anyway. Would you mind it being shortened to Vic? It probably would be.

I've only encountered 1 Eliza in my children's school but Isabelle/Isobel/Isabella is ridiculously common now, I always groan when yet another friend uses it. And I was considering it for my daughter 6 years ago! But now know at least 6, and my social circle is small Smile

Tobias and Eliza

ClaryBeanHorshAndMe · 29/03/2017 14:59

Tobias and Eliza! Really lovely :)

Jasper is really fabulous, btw :)

grufallosfriend · 29/03/2017 15:36

Victor is cool and classic! Tobias/Toby is trendy and a little dull imo , think it will date.

I also prefer Eliza.

Shortbread10 · 29/03/2017 16:30

Thank you, it's so nice to hear other opinions.

I'm thinking Eliza for a girl but I can't make my mind up for a boy. Victor is familiar/strong name yet quirky but I'm unsure if it's a little too 'old man'. Tobias is lovely but he'll definitely get called Toby which I don't like quite as much.

I like Frederick (Fred) and Ferdinand (Ferdie) too!

....and Coralie is another contender for a girl :)

Victor and Coralie, definitely.
Not a fan of Eliza and Isabelle is a pretty name but so overused that I just don't care for it anymore.
Victor and Coralie, however are great.
Jasper is a wonderful name.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 29/03/2017 17:00

Love Coralie and Ferdie. 😄

ClaryBeanHorshAndMe · 29/03/2017 17:00

Btw, Jasper and anything "bella" is probably a bit twilight-y (just googled the name Emmett today).

daisypond · 29/03/2017 18:08

I love Victor.
Not keen on either Eliza or Isabelle.

buttercup54321 · 29/03/2017 20:12

Tobias and Eliza are best.

Kazzawazza69 · 29/03/2017 20:33

Love Coralie

Coey2016 · 29/03/2017 20:59

Really like Victor and Coralie.

Sophronia · 29/03/2017 21:37

Victor and Eliza

SuperBeagle · 29/03/2017 21:43

Victor and Jasper seem poles apart in style.

I actually prefer Victor, but think Tobias goes better with Jasper.

I prefer the spelling Isabel for Isabelle, but prefer Eliza as a name because I can't stand "Izzy".

My DS2 is Frederick. He gets Fred. Suits him perfectly. Smile

Epipgab · 29/03/2017 21:56

I like Victor (and Victoria), Isabelle/a and Coralie.

Garnethair · 29/03/2017 21:59

Victor and Elizabeth

grufallosfriend · 29/03/2017 22:12

Victor and Coralie

Isitjustmeorisiteveryoneelse · 30/03/2017 16:23

Jasper is very Tudor so how about sticking with the theme and go for Edmund or Elizabeth

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 30/03/2017 16:40

Edmund is also very nice.

Dontrocktheboat · 30/03/2017 16:41

Tobias and Eliza.

Victor could be a lot to live up to.

Isabelle is a bit 10 years ago.

17caterpillars1mouse · 30/03/2017 16:44

I love Tobias but I'm.not really a fan of Victor and don't feel it has the same vibe as Jasper, plus the endings are very similar

I like Eliza. It's interesting. I love Isabelle though spelt Isobel (it's my daughter's mn) but I think Eliza suits the style and feel if Jasper much better

Buntysoven · 31/03/2017 00:46

Tobias or Coralie!

ClaryBeanHorshAndMe · 31/03/2017 08:01

Edmund is very nice.

Emma, Helen, Eleanor and Philippa would be lovely imo. :)
