Id have pronounced it lennerd.

heateallthebuns · 27/03/2017 21:24

I don't like it. It reminds me of names like derek. Like out of a 70s sitcom.

RealHouswifeofBury · 27/03/2017 21:32

I love it

Iamdazedandconfused · 27/03/2017 21:33

That's my lovely, clever, funny grandad's name so it has very happy connotations for me Smile

I think it would be a really sweet name for a little boy! And there won't be tonnes of them in his class at school.

Garnethair · 27/03/2017 21:37

Excellent name

Sophronia · 27/03/2017 21:46

Love it!

Joeybee · 27/03/2017 21:48

LOVE IT! Also you can get the nn Leo from it, and thats the cutest nn.

ScarletSienna · 27/03/2017 21:51

It's really not the style I like (old man style names) but I don't mind it. I don't prefer one pronounciation over the other either. I like names with options; Len/Lenny/Leo etc so maybe that's why I like it!

SealSong · 27/03/2017 21:52

Not a fan, sorry. Awful.

MoonGeek · 27/03/2017 21:54

Love it and all possible NNs
I know a lovely Lenny who really suits his name

Lindy2 · 27/03/2017 21:54

I know a baby Leonard. I have to admit it does seem a bit of a middle aged name for this little baby boy. However, Lenny is nice and as he gets older he can choose whether he wants to be Lenny, Len, Leonard etc. It's a very adaptable name.

Pencilvester · 27/03/2017 21:55

The ideal name, IMO. I would never use it, though, as my grandfather was called Leonard and he was horrible!

Roomba · 27/03/2017 22:01

I reckon it's due for a revival. I know an 11 year old one, but it's shortened to Leon (which is also lovely).

MrsOllyMurs · 27/03/2017 22:03

I think Lenny is very popular at the moment......nice though!

TalkingofMichaelAngel0 · 27/03/2017 22:05

I know a leon too. Love that

DramaAlpaca · 27/03/2017 22:18

I don't love it, but I don't dislike it.

I like that it has lots of nickname options.

Greenifer · 27/03/2017 22:21

I love it.

Buntysoven · 28/03/2017 01:01

I like Lenny a lot but am not keen on Leonard. Bit mothballs

ScarletSienna · 28/03/2017 12:21

Bunty-like the description of 'bit mothballs'! That expresses perfectly about how I feel about the name Arthur!

Pencilvester · 28/03/2017 12:50

I reckon it's due for a revival.

It's already having one!

buttercup54321 · 28/03/2017 22:03

Lenny or Lennon.

purplepaisley · 28/03/2017 22:15

I used to know a baby Leonard. Always half expected him to be smoking a cheroot, really couldn't get used to it as a baby name!

akorda · 02/04/2017 20:13

Great name!

fishfingerSarnies · 03/04/2017 07:50

I think it's a fab name!
