Love it, but Polanski?

Oh I was coming on to say how lovely it is, but yeah... Polanski. I don't know if I could get that association out of my head for a while. I would eventually though.

It wouldn't even occur to me.

I really like it but if you are unsure, what about Rowan?

I love the name but would never use it myself, I'm rather traditional. I personally wouldn't link it immediately to Polanski. If pushed to link it at all, I'd link it to the utterly gorgeous Roman that I went to college with.

I thought Polanski too.

Rowan seems like a good suggestion though?

I'm keen. Round my way it's a traditional Russian name.

I wanted it. Dp said no which I'm still annoyed about as Roman suits him more than the name we have him.

I really like it. I've heard of Roman Polanski but can't for the life of me think who he is so he didn't immediately come to mind.
