I know someone with that middle name. He has a very normal/common first name so the middle name sounds bit odd, sorry.

And it without fail makes me think of Tom Hanks and his basketball friend in Castaway...Willsssssoooooooonnn!!!

I thought you wanted to give wilson as the first name Grin I was about to rant about the poor kid, then I re-read it.

Any name goes with Wilson. Do you like traditional names like Charlie, George, Sam, Jonathan, Catherine, Annie, Madeleine, Isabelle. Or more out there names like Blue, Sky, River, Phoenix, Harper. Or something in between? Surely you have a starting point!

I used to have a friend called Elizabeth Wilson. She had a sister called Rebecca and a brother called Adam. My DH worked with a chap called William Wilson once, but I always thought that was a bit of a mouthful!

I honestly don't even know where to start.
I like traditional/timeless names but kind of want something a little unusual as surname very usual.
Our first child has a slightly unusual name but not so much so it's unknown/wrongly pronounced/ spelt incorrectly.
Thanks for the suggestions,

I'm a Wilson and we have about a gazillion people in our family and they all have normal names -- anything works with Wilson - maybe not Will/Willa/William Wilson but anything else.

Chocolatecake12 · 26/03/2017 22:40

Just to clarify - is Wilson a middle name as you say you have an unusual surname.
