Sofia. This is dd's middle name. We chose this spelling as we're Welsh and it goes better with her first name. I do love it with the ph spelling too though.

Bethan. It's lovely and far less used than Sophia where I live.

Unpopular opinion, but I would say Bethan! Bethan Sofia, perhaps?
It's just that Sophia is such a popular name atm, I always think if there's a less common name that you like just as much as a highly used one, go with the less common. Have you considered Bethany too? It's more girly so might be a good compromise.

Are you Welsh? If so, Bethan. I love that name spoken in a Welsh accent, with both syllables given equal stress, but not when it's pronounced as Beth'n, which is a bit bland.

I do like Sofia. Would you pronounce it So-fire, or So-FEE-ah?
