I just can't name this baby girl! It's impossible.

If she was a boy, I have 2 names sorted (4 - 2 first and 2 middle!)

I'm very happy though, but just can't name her. I hate names that I used to like and I just don't know what to call her. I'm just bored of the ones I loved.

I'm very keen on Dorothy! I don't even know why! I do prefer it for a middle name though. Madeleine Dorothy? Eh, I'm just not keen. Really like Maddie though. Just don't know really. SadSad

I hate this.

Nathaniel was on my boys list

I have an Eliza Dorothy - it's a great middle name

WankersHacksandThieves · 14/03/2017 21:55

To continue with the biblical feel of your chosen boys names, how about:

Amaris/Amarys
Ruth
Lillian
Leah
Lois
Miriam
Martha
Adriel
Julia
Esther

Love Nathaniel James that was on my boy list! If you love Dorothy just go with it!
My Nathaniel however was a girl called Louisa Connie x

Dorothy is a fabulous name. Loads of nice nn and wasted as a middle name IMO

RuthB4 · 14/03/2017 22:39

I'm not personally a fan of Dorothy but I can see it's a nice name.

How about Madeleine with a different nn to Maddie, like a pp said. Linny (pn like 'tinny' or like 'Lie-ny', depending on how you pn Madeleine).

Otherwise how about,
Victoria
Bethan
Florence
Polly
Coral
Jasmine

ChippieBeanAndHorro · 14/03/2017 22:58

I like Dorothy.

Nit a fan of Maddie/Madeleine/Madgalene at all, tbh.

What about
Elizabeth
Victoria

Natalia
Serena
Julia
Annabel
Daphne
Claudia
Rosalie

Haven't read whole thread but read your title and thought -

Maisie or Marcy/Marcie.

As you were.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 14/03/2017 23:36

Dorothy is lovely. Dottie or Dolly for short.

Buntysoven · 15/03/2017 00:55

Surely Adriel is a boys name?! Dorothy is gorgeous. Be brave! Dorothy Susannah?

I like Dorothy :) Also think Dorothea is wonderful. If you like Maddie how about Marnie? Or something that can be shortened to Mattie?

Dorothy is lovely!

Delilah - Dilly
Penelope - Penny
Andrea - Andie

Clara Dorothy

That's beautiful.

Don't think I've seen a name I like this much in quite some time...

Raahh · 15/03/2017 10:47

DD2 was also going to be Isaac. She's Philippa Imogen Grin

Philippa Dorothy

Pippa Dorothy?

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 15/03/2017 12:55
