Baby girl name Hettie or Lily?

Can't decide on a girls name Hettie or Lily

I would choose Hettie just because of the popularity of Lily. Is it short for anything?

I love Lily.

Lily is a 'proper' name by itself.

Hetty - or Hettie - is in my experience a shortened form of Henrietta. My most beloved ever teacher was called Hetty, and for that reason I would favour that one - but using the name Henrietta / nickname Hettie approach.

Lily was my great grandfather,s name, Hettie is also a shoform of Harriet

I prefer Lily. The longer versions such as Liliana are nice too.
