She's very very beautiful, congratulations!
Iris is a favourite of mine, the name itself but also a personal meaning for my family.
DP doesn't like Iris though. I'm currently loving the names Seren and Serena, if I was to have a girl tomorrow I think that would be my choice.
Love Olivia - don't care how popular it supposedly is, I think it's popular for a reason. I've only ever taught 3 in 12+ years of teaching young children, and none in the last few years, so my perception is that it isn't that ubiquitous but obviously that's just my experience.
Other names I love:
Delilah - currently teaching one, she's awesome and the name fits her perfectly.
Autumn - my favourite season, beautiful name, don't think I'd be brave enough though
Summer - just think it's pretty but again probably wouldn't use
Lara
Francesca
Ariana and Aurelia - would struggle to use these as feel GC and I are both too overwhelmingly British to justify!
Daisy - love it, just worry about it not being a strong/adult name
Celia -taught one who was lovely, name has stuck in my head, but she was Spanish and name sounded better pronounced that way!
Evangeline - my favourite for years was Eva, but have taught so very many Eva's/Evie's - all very lovely, but I think I prefer the longer version now, though of course the short forms may well end up being used
Sienna - beautiful
Paris - would never use, and know it's traditionally a boy's name but I love it for a girl (combination of happy memories of studying there/love for the city itself and Gilmore girls influence).
Speaking of Gilmore Girls, do also love Rory for a girl.
