We're delighted to be having another girl but struggling slightly with names! I'm not too bothered about the sibling names going together but it gives an idea of the kind of names we like.

I have a list but nothing is grabbing me really -

Zoe
Nina (too close to Naomi?)
Tamsin
Juliet
Freya
Anna

I love Sara but annoyingly can't use it. Same with Ruth.

Any opinions/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Harriet?

OddShoe · 19/02/2017 13:46

I like Harriet. Dp says it's too posh.

Emma is lovely Smile I have a friend with an Emma but I don't think she wouldn't mind me using it.

Corrie
Torrin
Mirren
Amelie

Those were my favourite girls names but I had a boy!

LOVE Anna. Such a classic, timeless name. To go with your daughters' biblical names what about Jemima, Lydia or Tabitha?

TulipsInAJug · 19/02/2017 13:58

It has to be another old testament name. Grin

Sarah
Leah
Rachel
Ruth
Hannah

Leah
Ruth
Rachel
Eve

I'm a bit cautious of sticking too rigidly with the religious theme as we might have a dc4 one day and if it was a girl I'd feel bad giving her a non biblical name but we'd really be struggling to find another we like, especially seeing as my name and most of my sisters names are biblical which cuts down our choices a lot. Also we aren't at all religious Grin

I'm really liking Anna today. I can imagine shouting it in the school playground which is my test of a good name.

Chloe?
Clara or Cara?

sunshinesupermum · 19/02/2017 14:24

Leah - if you'd like to keep to the Biblical Old Testament names!

NetflixandBill · 19/02/2017 14:25

Grace

Oddshoe There are still so many lovely biblical names to choose from tho - why would you be worried if you have a fourth girl?

My second suggestion would be Hannah. Deborah is also a good name imho.

Jessica?

OddShoe · 19/02/2017 14:48

sunshine I'm worried I'd feel like I had to chose them a biblical name incase they felt left out. Which I realise is a ridiculous thing to worry about for a hypothetical child which may never actually exist Grin

Thank you for the suggestions everyone, I'm seeing lots of names I'd never have thought of which is good.

I like Zoe from your list.

Georgia
Amelia
Carrie

OddShoe · 20/02/2017 09:21

I like dinah. I did like Delilah but dp says people will just sing Tom Jones at her. Also I think of Rachel in friends not wanting to name her baby after a biblical whore.

Esther
Susannah
Miriam

JeSouhaite · 20/02/2017 09:27

From your list, I'd go with Zoe or Freya.

How about Alice, Chloe or Martha?
